Transportation in Rome

Thanks to its efficient public transit system, it is easy for visitors to get around the city of Rome using the metro and city buses.

Rome has two major airports (Ciampino and Fiumicino) and two major train stations (Termini and Tiburtina).  Unfortunately, the cruise port is located quite a distance away in the town of Civitavecchia.
